Some Ballet and Bougainvilleas

When their car rolled up, all I could see was mounds of white tulle, her huge smile, and that glittering tiara, so I knew immediately we were going to have a marvelous session! She honestly looked like a princess when she stepped out of the car, and when she went up en pointe in that dress..WOW! When she changed into her 3rd, more casual look and we were on our way down to the beach, we came across a sitting area surrounded by the most beautiful bougainvilleas, that happened to match PERFECTLY with her headpiece, which is now a tradition to wear during quince in her family. We then ventured down to the beach and ended our session with some beautiful captures of her dancing as the sun went down. Miss J is driven and strong, as well as funny and creative. Her Mom and I hit it off immediately which made the whole shoot so much fun! Delivering her final album was the icing on the cake, it turned out gorgeous and it always makes my heart happy to know they have it to share with generations of flower headpiece wearing family members to come!
