The Three Amigos

There is something really magical that happens in the hallways of a dance studio. Not only do you hear talk of technique, or an upcoming class, but there is this wonderful feeling of friendship and sisterhood of girls that share the same passion and commitment for what they love. They do homework together, eat together, laugh and I'm sure cry together too. So while I love to have one on one sessions with my dancers, having a session that expressed the sisterhood I get to witness at the studios I work with was a great experience. The common thread of dance that holds them all together. The support and love they have for one another and the bond that has grown over the years, along with their technique. I loved this group of girls, all of whom I had photographed before individually. But it was different having them all together, joy, laughter, the essence of youth and all the wonderful experiences for them to come, and share...together.One of my images was also shared by the amazing Pointe Magazine publication, with the #squadgoals. I say we nailed it girls!
