Some Ballet and Bougainvilleas {West Palm Beach Photographer}

When their car rolled up, all I could see was mounds of white tulle, her huge smile, and that glittering tiara, so I knew immediately we were going to have a marvelous session! She honestly looked like a princess when she stepped out of the car, and when she went up en pointe in that dress..WOW! When she changed into her 3rd, more casual look and we were on our way down to the beach, we came across a sitting area surrounded by the most beautiful bougainvilleas, that happened to match PERFECTLY with her headpiece, which is now a tradition to wear during quince in her family. We then ventured down to the beach and ended our session with some beautiful captures of her dancing as the sun went down. Miss J is driven and strong, as well as funny and creative. Her Mom and I hit it off immediately which made the whole shoot so much fun! Delivering her final album was the icing on the cake, it turned out gorgeous and it always makes my heart happy to know they have it to share with generations of flower headpiece wearing family members to come!

I have never photographed in such a magical place before. And having a guided tour by the owners while we shot was really the cherry on top. From the dressing rooms, to the stables this place was enchanting, and we had it ALL to ourselves. We all loved taking in the surrounds while capturing breathtaking images of Miss A for a belated Quince session. The weather, location and that gorgeous gown added up to a pretty much perfect day for all of us. I enjoyed laughing and getting to know Miss A, who was shy but so so smart, and wonderful to be around. She continued to be radiant, while I litterly melted in the Florida sun, a true beauty she was. We ended our day with a yummy spread of desserts and sandwiches in the kitchen on the property, and all reminisced on what a sublime day we all had. I left tired, and stinky..but so full of happiness and excitement to get their viewing gallery up as soon as possible.

After delivering the finished images and her GORGEOUS metal print, I received the most special surprise from Miss A, a beautiful handwritten card thanking me for her photos along with letting me know what a great time she had. The unexpected thoughtfulness of this young lady brought tears to my eyes as I read her letter over and over again.

That card will always hold such a special place in my heart and a permanent spot my desk!

Tale as Old as Time {South Florida Quinceanera Photographer}

I’d seen her many times before when shooting at the studio, she was always the quiet one in the back of her ballet class. Sweet and shy, and with tons of talent.
When we met to discuss her upcoming session, she let me know that her Quince was going to be a Beauty and the Beast theme. Her dress was nothing less then dreamlike and the sentimental location was a sure recipe for a perfect shoot.

But when Miss K stepped in front of my camera for her session, something truely magical happened.
She bloomed.
She shined with the most confidence and elegance throughout her shoot. She moved so gracefully, that she brought tears to my eyes. She became a different girl that day, a young women that had discovered her power and presence.

It was an unbeleivable time to capture. One I will never forget, and I hope neither will she.
